1. Who we are

AFRIbits ("we", "us") provides a trading interface that lets verified users follow markets, place orders, and request deposits or withdrawals. This policy explains what we collect and why.

2. Information we collect

  • Account info from Google Sign-In: your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique Google account ID. We use this strictly to create and secure your AFRIbits account.
  • Activity data: orders, deposits, withdrawals, support messages, and login events (IP, user agent, approximate country) used to keep the platform safe.
  • Financial reference data: exchange rates, currency pair, and timestamps captured at the time of each deposit or withdrawal so the conversion remains auditable.

3. How we use your information

  • Authenticate you and protect your account against fraud and abuse.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, and trades you submit.
  • Respond to your support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use Google user data for advertising.

4. Google API services & limited use

AFRIbits' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Sharing

We share information only with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) that process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy legal, accounting, and audit requirements.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support inside the app. You can also revoke AFRIbits' access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

8. Security

Connections are encrypted in transit. Sensitive operations require authentication and are protected by row-level security policies on the database.
